BRIT Awards have been announced with the event set to be staged for the first time on a Saturday.The bash will be held on February 11 at the O2 Arena and will be broadcast on ITV again for the 30th year.Award organisers also announced that Managing Director of Atlantic Records, Damian Christian will be taking over as Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2023.Commenting on the new date, Christian said: “The BRITs is the biggest night of the year for the UK music industry, and we want as many eyes on it as possible as we showcase the best and most diverse British talent.

A special music concert paying tribute to rock and roll legend Taylor Hawkins is to take place this weekend featuring a stellar lineup including Liam Gallagher, Kesha and Brian May.

“Ratings, what’s good?”The preliminary Nielsen figures for the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, its pre-show and two on-air replays are in — and both TV and cross-platform consumption ratings are up. According to the numbers, 3.9 million viewers tuned in to watch Sunday’s festivities across 12 Paramount Global cable channels and the broadcast network The CW — which is a 3% increase from 2021’s programming, which attracted 3.7 million viewers.Paramount says viewers watched 1.59 billion minutes of VMAs content across TV, streaming and social platforms.

2022 MTV Video Music Awards are this weekend and the list of performers is hard to top!On Thursday, it was announced that Snoop Dogg and Eminem will be performing a live rendition of their latest collaboration — their first in more than 20 years -- «From the D 2 the LBC.» Inspired by the world of the Otherside metaverse, MTV is partnering with Yuga Labs to bring the creative experience to life. The moment will mark the first VMAs performance for either artist in more than a decade. Thousands of music lovers will attend Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend (August 26 to 28) to see a whole host of acts perform. Taking place at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’s Bramham Park, festival goers will see the likes of Artic Monkeys, Dave and The 1975 take to the stages over the jam-packed weekend.

Thania Garcia Bad Bunny will be performing remotely for MTV’s Video Music Awards live from his “World’s Hottest Tour” stop in New York’s Yankee Stadium. Although the VMAs are being held at New Jersey’s Prudential Center, roughly 25 miles (but nightmarish traffic distance) from Yankee Stadium, Bad Bunny will be making an appearance and performing “never-before-seen choreography” through the live broadcast.
