Bradley Cooper To Receive Santa Barbara Film Festival’s Outstanding Performer Of The Year Award

With his role as musical icon Leonard Bernstein in Netflix’s Maestro racking up strong critical acclaim since the film’s premiere at Venice in September, Bradley Cooper adds another laurel with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival naming him the honoree of its Outstanding Performer Of The Year Award. It will be presented to the star at a tribute at the Arlington Theatre on February 8, 2024.
In addition to starring in the film opposite Carey Mulligan, Cooper also directed, co-wrote, and was a producer of Maestro, his second time taking on director’s reins. A nine-time Oscar nominee, Grammy winner, and Tony nominee, Cooper’s directorial debut A Star Is Born, which he also co-wrote, produced, starred and directed, garnered 8 Oscar nominations. Following the success of his producorial work, Cooper started his production company Lea Pictures in 2020.

Past recipients of the award of the Outstanding Performer Of The Year award include Cate Blanchett, Sacha Baron Cohen, Adam Driver, Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and many more.
The 39th Santa Barbara International Film Festival will take place February 7 – February 17, 2024.
