The dog was staying at the then home of Stacey Smith, 32 when it savaged the boy, who cannot be named due to a court order, in the front garden of the house.

Nola belonged to her partner at the time and had been at her home for 10 days prior to the 'appalling' incident on August 13, last year, the Liverpool Echo reports.
In a moving victim impact statement read to Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, September 28, the boy's mum, who also can't be named, said her son "won't have a normal childhood" because of the attack.
The statement, which was read to the court by prosecuting barrister Helen Chenery, said: "He cries out in his sleep, 'Get the dog away from me'. He continues to suffer both physically and mentally... it is heartbreaking for us. Every time I close my eyes I can see the attack and I am reliving it. I feel sick and wish it was me."
Ms Chenery had earlier told the court how the young boy had gone into Smith's house. However, within seconds of him opening the front gate of Smith's house in the Norris Green area of the city, Nola burst out of the open front door and latched her jaws around the four-year-old's head.
Ms Chenery told the court the boy's mum, who was walking just behind him, started screaming and "ragging"

Owen Gleiberman Chief Film Critic If there’s a pop musician of the last 60 years who deserves a great documentary, it’s Antonio Carlos Jobim. Some might bristle at my description of him as “pop.” In Brazil, where Jobim, one of the prime architects of bossa nova, is considered a national treasure, he’s simply thought of as a composer, placed on a pedestal along with classical Brazilian composers like Heitor Villa-Lobos. Jobim’s gorgeously complex chord structures — the aural equivalent of melty-colored Impressionist paintings — were arguably more jazz than pop.
