She will now be an executive producer on Season 2 of the show. “The Last of Us” has proven to be incredibly popular with viewers and critics, with the recent season finale pulling in a series high 8.2 million viewers on linear and streaming platforms the night it aired. In addition, the first season holds a 96% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Bobby Caldwell, a prolific singer-songwriter who recorded a steady string of R&B hits starting in the 1970s, has died. His wife, Mary Caldwell, posted the news on her husband’s verified Twitter account Wednesday afternoon. He was 71.

In fact, his record label, TK Records, had mad a deliberate effort to hide his race, using a photograph of his silhouette on his first album cover to make his music more marketable to a largely Black audience.Caldwell’s final album, ‘Cool Uncle’, was released in 2015.
