She was 97. Mathews Funeral Home in Albany, Georgia, confirmed the death on Monday, writing in an obituary that she «passed peacefully of natural causes» on Aug. 18. Patton Moss was best known for her role as Ruth Dakin Bailey in Frank Capra's , the wife of Todd Karns' Harry Bailey and sister-in-law of protagonist George Bailey, played by James Stewart.

Jason Sudeikis' custody petition against Olivia Wilde was dismissed this week after a judge ruled that their children's home state is California. confirmed the ruling on Wednesday. Sudeikis first brought a case against Wilde in New York City family court over their two shared children -- Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5 — in October 2021.
