Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has been sharing covers while he’s self-isolating at home. In March, he played “I Think We’re Alone Now.” And, earlier this month, Armstrong covered San Francisco punk band Avengers’ “Corpus Christi.” Now, he’s performed “That Thing You Do!” in tribute to the late songwriter Adam Schlesinger.
