Lauren's mother Kaye updated her followers on her daughter's current health, telling them that the TV star "still has a way to go". Lauren, 45, was rushed to hospital for surgery on her brain as she suffered from an unknown medical issue.
She wrote on Twitter from Lauren's account: "Lauren was moved to ICU as she caught Covid as well as 2 infections causing her breathing issues. "She is awake and talking again back in Neurology. I want to say thank you again to all the amazing staff at Heath Hospital.
She still has a way to go but she is strong. Prey for her." Many rushed to reply to Lauren's mother to share their best wishes, and one wrote: "Hope she's feeling better soon. Sending love and well wishes to her xxx." "Thinking of you Lauren, you’re a fighter and we need you back immediately!!!" another said.
A third also shared: "Bless her, she’s had an awful time . Get well soon Lauren xxx." "Thank goodness. Hope recovery continues x," a fourth penned.
It comes after Kaye shared a snap of Lauren in her hospital bed as she explained her daughter was under "close watch" as she continues to have "memory issues and confusion" following her surgery. She wrote: "Yesterday they moved Lauren back to recovery, she is under close watch. She still has memory issues and confusion.
"The doctors say that she does not need another operation atm they are taking it day by day. "Please pray for her and send her your love.Thank you for your kindness."
