Britain's Got Talent viewers are convinced that they spotted a semi final act storming off the stage after being eliminated on Tuesday night. During the semi final results show, escapologist Andrew Basso appeared to leave the stage early – and fans speculated that this was because he was unhappy about being booted off the programme.
Andrew left the stage after he had been told he was going home, deciding not to wait until every contestant had been given their results, which is the normal process.Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Andrew walked off? BRO what is going on??" A second wrote: "Anyone else see Andrew Basso just walk off after not getting through?" "Did the water guy walk off in a strop," a fourth said. The escapologist had performed a water escape and was the last act to dazzle fans on the show. Andrew went into the water for some time before the tank went dark and he couldn't be seen.
However many people, including judge Amanda Holden, 51, felt that Andrew deceived fans, as when he was in the water people couldn't see what he was doing. Speaking on the show, a disappointed Amanda, said: "This evening, because of the darkness, we were left wondering if there was less danger and more deceit going on." Showing that Amanda wasn't alone in her views, one viewer wrote on Twitter: "So we don't actually get to see what he is doing in there." A second said: "Wait what!!!! The lights went out in the cage. That's convenient." "What is happening," a third added.
However, it wasn't bad news for everyone. Impressionist Ben Nickless and rap
