Bethenny Frankel is putting her podcast Just B Divorced on pause as she grieves the death of her mother.
In a statement shared on social media, Frankel announced she would be temporarily removing some podcast episodes on halting the series.
“I have chosen to temporarily remove my divorce podcast as a result of an overwhelming response and an influx of messages that have converged with the most significant loss of my life,” Frankel said in a statement. “It is impossible for me to give and process both of these traumatic events at the same time.”
She continued, “The unforeseen circumstances and the reaction to this triggering topic has confirmed how important this conversation is.”
Frankel promised to “continue this dialogue to help you navigate your challenging divorce journeys” in the near future.
“I love you all and am so grateful to you for supporting me in both areas,” Frankel ended.
It’s not clear if Frankel will continue hosting her other podcasts, Just B with Bethenny Frankel and Rants with Bethenny Frankel.
The former Real Housewives of New York City star announced over the weekend that her mother had died at the age of 73.
“My mother has died of lung cancer.She was complex, in pain, isolated and had demons.She was the most stunning woman you have ever seen, who left her abusive home as quickly as I ran from mine. I was born on her bday,” Frankel wrote in an Instagram post remembering her late mother.
“Goodbye mom, Bonnie, Bernadette. You did the best you could and you are free and at peace.”
