Benny Safdie is opening up about the accusations against Sebastian Bear-McClard.
After announcing that he would not be co-directing Adam Sandler‘s upcoming project in a new interview with IndieWire, The Elara Pictures co-founder commented on the situation with Sebastian.
If you recall, Sebastian has multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against him and is accused of inappropriate conduct by multiple people.

“When you find out something about somebody that you didn’t realize, you just have to be much more careful,” he continued. “It’s a lot, and it’s not something that you want to have happen to anybody. And when you find it out, the one thing that you can do is really just take control.”
Following the accusations, Sebastian was let go from the company after entering mediation with the Safdie Brothers.
Sebastian previously split with nodel and actress Emily Ratajkowski, after cheating allegations.
