'Beetlejuice' Is Ending Its Broadway Run in 2023

The “Christmas Waltz” and “Much Ado About Christmas” writer and producer also co-wrote the screenplay with husband Michael Damian (“Hot Tamale,” “Moondance Alexander”), Jeff Bonnett (“Love by the Book”) and Ron Oliver (“Operation Christmas,” “Harvest Moon”). MPCA’s Brad Krevoy and Riviera Films’ Michael Damian serve as producers on the film. MPCA is behind several Netflix Christmas films, including the “A Christmas Prince” franchise, “Operation Christmas Drop” and “A Castle for Christmas.”

Lionsgate has just dated three theatrical release for next year: the Sebastian Maniscalco inspired biopic About My Father starring the comedian and Robert De Niro for Memorial Day weekend May 26; the untitled Adele Lim comedy on June 23 and The Expendables 4 for Sept. 22.

With a total of £82.6 million after 17 weekends, the film is the top grossing film of 2022 in the territory and eighth on the all time chart behind “Avengers: Endgame” (£88.7 million).

With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.

There had been some chatter that the producers were looking for another actor to take over for Jackman as Professor Henry Hill, but those kind of performers are few and far between. And, well, they don’t usually have the kind of commercial appeal to fill the Winter Garden. The revival, which also starred two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, will have played 358 regular and 46 preview performances by the time it takes its final bow.
