: Dixon was suffering with bacterial vaginosis when she says her grandmother came to her in a dream and gifted her with the recipe for what eventually became her first product.“I had bacterial vaginosis for almost a year,” Dixon tells Glamour. "It would go away and come back every single month, right after I had my period. I did all the stuff.
I took the medicine. I went to the doctor. I went to Google.
I did all the natural stuff, too, but still nothing worked. It was crazy, and I was really desperate. But my grandmother came [in a dream] and told me she had been walking with me and had been seeing me struggle.
She basically was like, ‘I know how to fix it.’ She handed me a piece of paper, and it had a list of ingredients.” Dixon had never met her late grandmother in real life, but she took the advice to heart. “She told me to remember it, remember what was on the paper, so that's what I did,” Dixon says. “I just kept repeating it over and over again.
I literally woke up saying the ingredients, and then I wrote it down.”From that dream, Dixon made her first product and started giving it away to family and friends as market research to see if it worked well for others. “I went to work at Whole Foods, and I made myself a wash, and it worked,” she says. “So that was really the impetus at the start of our brand, and we just hit the ground running.”Now, Dixon’s focus is one of reclaiming her wellness and advocating for vaginas everywhere, especially vaginas of color.

But until now, one of them hasn’t received quite the recognition she rightly deserves: Princess Beatrice. As she celebrates her 35th birthday this week, some are even dubbing her the royals’ “secret weapon” – more carefree than the Duchess of Edinburgh, more down to earth than The Princess Royal and more relatable than the polished Princess of Wales.
