Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova has shared a brand new career move after being 'snubbed' from the latest series. The professional dancer wasn't chosen to have a celebrity partner during the latest run of the BBC One dance contest.
She's still very much part of the show, appearing in the 'Claudatorium' every Saturday night and appearing in the group dances and musical performances. But the Ukrainian ballroom and Latin American dancer, who joined the show as a pro in 2017, was supported by her fans after sharing her 'disappointment' at the decision not to pair her with a celebrity this year.
Taking to her Instagram page after the launch show aired last month, Nadiya confessed her feelings with her 170,000 followers. Sharing a picture of her herself in a striking gold jumpsuit, the dancer wrote: "I’m sure you’ll understand that I'm disappointed not to be partnered with a celebrity on @bbcstrictly this series.

"It is an amazing show to be a part of and I’m still so excited for all the group numbers, performing with some of our music acts and much much more." She then added: "I’m also looking forward to supporting my fellow pros and I want to wish all the couples the best of luck for the competition this year."
But Nadiya has been keeping herself busy without a famous face to train and she's just revealed that she is working on something exciting away from Strictly. Over on Instagram, it was revealed that Nadiya will perform her first-ever DJ set for Discoliscious – founded by Denise Van Outen and Jemma Bolt.
