Layton Williams has said he was 'not expecting' it as he continues to prove he's a fan favourite on the Strictly Come Dancing live tour. The actor and West End star is currently touring the country in a very different kind of show as the juggernaut that is the BBC One dance contest visits cities across the country.
The tour has seen Layton reunited with professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin after they made it to the final of the show's epic 2023 series back in December, alongside Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell and eventual winners Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola.
Despite topping the leaderboard on the night after scoring two perfect 40s, Layton and Nikita just missed out on lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy with Ellie making history as the youngest-ever Strictly winner at the age of 22 alongside dance partner Vito.

But Layton and Nikita have since gone on to lift the Glitterball multiple times on tour as the audiences get to vote for their favourites at each show. At the time of writing, after visits to Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle and Glasgow, the pair had won seven of the 14 shows, following by Bobby and Dianne with six and Ellie and Vito with one win.
Ahead of a day off from performing, Layton also took to social media where he shared a message to those who have been watching the show. Alongside a picture of himself and Nikita backstage, the 29-year-old wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Thank you to everyone who's been voting for us in the strictly live shows. I was so not expecting to be lifting any trophies.
"Whenever we win
