Ellie Leach has opened up about her 'struggles' as she chatted to fans in a catch-up weeks after her Strictly Come Dancing win. The actress has been enjoying a well-deserved break over the Christmas and New Year period following her epic end in the BBC One dance contest.
Ellie, 22 ,emerged victorious during the grand final of the series on December 16 alongside her dance partner Vito Coppola after they both faced fellow finalists Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell in the last live show of the competition.
After showcasing three dances each during the final, it all came down to the public and following the vote, it was revealed that Ellie and Vito were this year's winners and the pair gleefully lifted the Glitterball trophy. Their win also meant that the pair also made history as Ellie, at the age of 22, is now the youngest-ever winner of the hit dance competition.

Following their winning moment, and subsequent TV and radio appearance in the days that followed, Ellie and Vito went their separate ways with former Coronation Street star Ellie returning home to Manchester for Christmas while Italian dancer Vito headed back to Italy where he was able to enjoy time with his family who also put him to work on their farm.
