Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Leach has issued a plea to her fans and followers as she addressed them for the first time since winning the show. The actress took to social media for the first time since she and Vito Coppola were crowned winners of this year's BBC One dance contest.
The pair went up against Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell in the final on Saturday night (December 16) after a previous 12 weeks of training days and performances.
To be in with a chance of taking the Strictly 2023 title, all three couples had to perform three dances each - their favourite from the series, the judges' pick and a 'show dance' which showcased everything they had learnt in the past three months.

The judges gave their usual comments and scores, however, the end result came down to the public vote which told a different story to the judges' opinion. Layton and Nikita received a total score of 119 points out of a possible 120 while Bobby and Dianne bagged 117 points. Ellie and Vito then placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points.
After Ellie and Vito were eventually crowned winners, the visibly shocked pair were able to say a few words to hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman before giving their first live TV interview on This Morning on Monday (December 18) as the momentous occasion started to sink in.
But now, former Coronation Street star Ellie has taken to social media as she penned her own message to those who have supported her and Vito
