A Strictly Come Dancing favourite is making his much-anticipated return to the BBC dance contest next week for its spin-off show It Takes Two. Fans will be delighted to see Kevin Clifton, 41, make an appearance on the programme, which comes almost four years after he quit the main show.
The professional dancer, 41, joined the lineup in 2013 and had his fair share of partnerships before winning the 16th series of the show with his now real-life partner Stacey Dooley in 2018. After securing the Glitterball trophy, the pair continued their romance and in January this year, documentary-maker Stacey gave birth to their first child, a daughter called 'Minnie'.
In March 2020, Kevin announced his departure from the hit BBC show after seven years as he shared a statement to his Instagram. At the time, Kevin wrote: "The past 7 years have been some of the most wonderful years of my life. I am grateful to the BBC and Strictly Come Dancing for giving me the opportunity to have been a part of something truly special."

He added: "Since first being called ‘Kevin From Grimsby’ by Sir Bruce Forsyth in 2013 I have experienced the highs of 5 finals, winning a Guinness World record on It Takes Two, the Strictly Arena tour glitterball and then the ultimate of winning the 2018 series with Stacey Dooley.
"After finishing last series with the Children In Need trophy and the Christmas Special I want to leave on a high and have therefore decided the time has come to move on and focus on other areas of my life and career.”
