Happy Valley fans are gutted that the show is concluding this week, however, fans reckon they know how it ends.
The finale, which airs on Sunday, February 5, at 9pm, is said to be so top secret that even the cast don't know how it ends as a few different ending scenarios were filmed.
In the last episode, the aftermath of Tommy Lee Royce's grand escape unfolded and viewers were left on the edge of their seats.
Fans of the show were also divided when Ryan turned up at Ann and his brother Daniel's door, and she didn't hold back and told him that his father Tommy had raped his mum Becky, that he was raised from being a baby following her suicide by his granny Catherine Cawood despite never being wanted by the rest of the family.
Catherine then turned up to collect Ryan from Ann and Daniel's and the pair shared a heartwarming moment when Ryan told his granny he loved her. But then, as Daniel, Ann, Clare, Neil, Nevison, Richard and Ros were all hiding, and waiting for news of Tommy's capture, no one was aware that Tommy had got in touch with Ryan through an instant messenger on his games console.
Tommy told Ryan that he was planning on running off to Spain, and when Ryan asked his dad: "What are you gonna do? Are you armed and dangerous?", Tommy revealed his plan for the pair of them to escape to Marbella.
Fans of the show then speculated that Catherine or Tommy will end up dead at the hands of Ryan.
One fan tweeted: "What if Tommy gets to Catherine, and then Ryan kills him to save his granny #HappyValley."
Another penned: "Ok, so, either.... 1) Ryan will kill Tommy 2) Tommy will kill (albeit caught in crossfire) Ryan 3) Tommy will seriously injure/ kill Catherine 4) Ryan will save Catherine, but by (see A) killing Tommy See you all
