A cannabis farm worth more than £1 million has been uncovered by police.

A bar where police say £20,000-worth of cocaine was found - along with a cannabis farm in the basement - has had its licence revoked. Cops said they were acting on intelligence that drugs were openly 'sold over the bar' to punters at The Hub, Haslam Street, Bury, before they raided the building, council papers state.
When officers entered on September 1, they found almost kilo of cocaine, evidence presented to Bury council's licensing panel said. Cops said small 'deals' of the drug were behind the bar ready for sale to customers, documents show.
In and around the bar area, officers found snap bags, scales, money and debt lists, evidence presented to councillors read. Police allege the items were related to the sale of drugs.

Officers said 'traces of substances were found behind the bar area related to the preparation for customers', paper say. The licensing hearing was told a cannabis farm with 68 plants was found behind a false wall in the basement.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) put in an application for the permanent revocation of The Hub's premises licence, believing the premises are associated with 'serious crime and/or disorder'.
The hearing was held on Thursday, September 28. A panel of councillors decided to revoke the bar's licence. The decision confirmed interim steps made at a previous meeting on September 8. The panel was presented with evidence by Sgt Andrew Vernon of Greater Manchester Police.
