A Tameside man was walking back from a night at his local pub when he was hit by a van which drove away, a court has heard.
An inquest into the death of David Clegg was opened at South Manchester Coroners' Court on Friday morning (July 2).
The court heard that Mr Clegg, 56, died on June 20 after a collision near the Royal Oak pub and his home on Kings Road, Ashton-under-Lyne.
