Ashley Cain has shared a sweet video of the moment he reunited with his one-month-old son Aliyas after spending two weeks in Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.
The reality TV star, 33, welcomed his little boy in January with an ex-partner, and was over the moon to be back with him in the video, which was shared to his 2m Instagram followers. Leaning in and out to give Aliyas some kisses, Ashley beamed at his son in the video. Explaining how much of a journey he'd been on before returning home, he wrote in the caption: "After climbing the world's highest free standing mountain, travelling 15+ hours from Tanzania to Nairobi, Nairobi to Heathrow and being the gang's designated driver back home..
I was looking forward to a day of rest. "But when I got home, I was surprised with an even better privilege.. Kisses, cuddles, bottles, a load of nappies and a day with my little man Aliyas." In another post, Ashley also shared some pictures from the day, where he held the newborn in his arms and dubbed it the 'best welcome home'.
Ashley announced the news of Aliyas' birth on social media earlier this year, and vowed to protect the little one. He wrote: "I'll be right behind you, Son. I will always be near.
I'Il follow where you want to go. You have nothing to fear. Daddy." Ashley welcomed his son almost two years after the tragic death of Ashley's eight-month-old daughter Azaylia Diamond Cain, who he shared with ex Safiyya Vorajee and sadly passed away after a battle with leukaemia.
