Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have announced a new collaborative EP called ‘RR’.The two singer-songwriters, who are a couple, are due to release the project next Friday (March 24). It’ll contain three tracks: ‘Beso’, ‘Vampiros’ and ‘Promesa’.Yesterday (March 13), Rosalía shared the red-and-black official artwork for ‘RR’ on social media along with its release date. Thania Garcia Warner Records today announced the launch of its first-ever flagship electronic dance music label, Major Recordings. Headed by Sam Mobarek, the label’s first signing is duo the duo Parisi, in partnership with Parlophone’s FFRR imprint. Mobarek will report to Warner Records’ co-chairman/ COO Tom Corson and co-chairman/ CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck. Mobarek has nearly two decades of experience in branding and marketing, most recently running Mob Creative, which she also founded. Prior to Mob, Mobarek led the marketing department at Ultra Music, working with Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, Pitbull, and deadmau5; she also ran the pop imprint Lefthook under Sony Music while still a student at New York University’s Stern School of Business, and held posts at live music company SFX (now Lifestyle) as well as Beatport. In recent months, she and her team have been working with Warner’s partners on such acts as the Blessed Madonna, Eliza Rose, Luude, Skin on Skin and more.

According to Paramount, those ticket sales mark the biggest overseas opening weekend of the “Scream” franchise, ahead of prior installments by 60% for comparable markets. The latest “Scream” also set a new record in North America with its $44.5 million debut, bringing its global tally to $67 million. “Scream VI” established new high-watermarks for the long-running series in 29 international territories, including the United Kingdom ($3.6 million), France ($2.5 million), Australia ($2 million), Mexico ($2 million) and Brazil ($1.8 million).

Scream 6 is the latest in the franchise, and fans rolled out to the theaters to find out who lives, who dies, and who is behind the Ghostface mask. This time around the franchise left Woodsboro, much like in Scream 2 and 3. The New York City setting was the perfect backdrop for the film as the busy streets, close-knit apartments, and subways add to the spooky setting.

Calvin Harris has released a new collaborative single with Ellie Goulding – listen to ‘Miracle’ below.The ’90s trance-inspired track marks the pair’s third team-up following 2012’s ‘I Need Your Love’ and 2014’s ‘Outside’. Harris teased the song in January by sharing a photo of himself and Goulding in the studio.“Can you forgive it all/ To believe in a miracle/ Yeah I put you through hell/ But I’m asking you to believe/ To believe in a miracle,” the latter sings over a throbbing, Eurodance drum beat.‘Miracle’ then opens up into an ethereal piano and synth instrumental before the beat drops in once again.

Since then, there have been many rumblings about of some kind of bricks-and-mortar Tower relaunch — there was a vaguely defined space on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, and rumors, stickers and posters have been seen around New York for many months. On Wednesday, it made sense: The company has unveiled Tower Labs, a new creative space in Brooklyn, New York. Located on Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Tower Labs “is designed to engage and stimulate music fans with a range of offerings including live music events, album listening parties, and a new speakeasy style ‘vinyl drop’ window for limited edition music and merchandise releases,” according to the announcement.

Some of France’s brightest writers/filmmakers, including Alice Winocour (“Paris Memories”), Rebecca Zlotowski (“Other People’s Children”), Sebastien Marnier (“The Origin of Evil”) and Cesar-winning star Virginie Efira and famous actor Melvil Poupaud traveled to New York with Unifrance, the French film promotion org. On top of presenting their movies, some talents on the ground took part in masterclasses at Film at Lincoln Center, Columbia University and Brooklyn College, as well as a creative workshop with emerging filmmakers participating in the Gotham Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film.

In “Creed III,” Jordan returns as Adonis Creed and stars opposite Majors, who portrays new antagonist, Damian Anderson.
