This week has seen Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announce that a new deal had been agreed with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to help ease post-Brexit trade issues in Northern Ireland.
The PM called it a 'decisive breakthrough' while announcing the deal on Monday, with Ms Leyen labelling what's been called the Windsor Framework as 'historic'.
Following years of wrangling over a deal as well as many questioning whether or not Brexit is a good idea, we want to know your thoughts on this latest breakthrough.
Let us know what you think in the comments section.
One of the main parts of the deal, which aims to create easier and more frictionless trade with Northern Ireland, sees a green lane and red lane system for goods travelling from Britain to the island of Ireland.
The green lane will be for exports meant just for Northern Ireland and will require less checks, while the red lane will be for goods potentially destined for the EU and therefore will require more checks.
There are also changes to VAT and excise rules on some goods such as alcohol, with Northern Ireland having previously been operating under EU rules but is now set to switch to UK rules.
Another facet of the deal will see a reduced influence of EU laws in Northern Ireland as well as the 'Stormont Brake', a mechanism which would allow Northern Ireland leaders to object to any new goods rules. However, the European Court of Justice will still have the final say on single market issues.
Labour leader Keir Starmer has already backed Mr Sunak's new deal, with the head of the opposition stating that 'Labour will support' the proposal when it gets put forward for a vote in Parliament.
