In addition, the new series “High Potential” starring Kaitlin Olson is now slated to debut in fall 2024. “Home Economics” aired its third season finale in January of this year, which will now serve as its series finale.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter The megahit animated series “SpongeBob SquarePants” has been renewed for Season 15 at Nickelodeon. The new season will consist of 26 episodes and will bring the show to 345 total episodes since it originally launch in 1999. The show will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its debut in 2024.

McKinley Franklin editor Robert Kirkman, the creator of the “Invincible” comics and series, believes seven to eight seasons of the animated superhero show would be enough to cover the scope of its story. “I’m trying not to pin it down to a number, because it is somewhat of a moving target. I think in the seven-to-eight-season range seems like it would be enough,” Kirkman said in a recent interview with Polygon.

The spinoff of the “Pitch Perfect” film franchise originally debuted on Peacock in November 2022 and was renewed in January 2023. According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, the decision was made to cancel the series as the ongoing strikes in Hollywood meant that production was not able to begin as originally scheduled.

Another daytime show has decided that it is not the right time to move forward with production. On Sunday, it was announced that “The Talk” has paused the premiere of the upcoming season, amid the Writer’s Guild of America strike. The news was confirmed by CBS in a statement to ET.

CBS has reversed its plan to premiere The Talk on Monday.

“Our Flag Means Death” was a sleeper hit for Max on its series premiere last year. That makes Season 2 of the pirate comedy one of the most anticipated releases on TV this Fall.

Soon enough, the streamers began slashing shows as quickly and brutally as any Nielsen-obsessed broadcaster, and they were all flooded with same complaint: “The streamers just cancel everything! Nothing gets more than a season anymore!” How true is that really? After all, the streamers are looking for hit shows, just like traditional networks.

With the long-gestating Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV reboot on indefinite hold, fans of the cult vampire drama are getting an audio offshoot, Slayers: A Buffyverse Story, centered around James Marsters’ character Spike. A number of other original cast members, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Head, Juliet Landau, Emma Caulfield Ford, Amber Benson, James Charles Leary, Danny Strong, will also make a return for the Audible series, which will premiere Oct. 12.
