Amy Childs has opened up about how her kids are coping with the pending arrival of her twins, with the TOWIE star saying that five year old daughter Polly “isn’t herself”. Amy announced late last year that she's expecting twins with beau Billy Delbosq. While the babies will be Billy’s first, Amy is already mum to Polly and Ritchie, four, from previous relationships.
As the twins' due date draws closer, Amy discusses in her weekly OK! column about how Polly is handling it all. “I feel like Polly’s a little bit emotional at the minute. I don’t know if it’s because I’m pregnant,” she wrote.
“She’s very social – she’s my social butterfly. She goes into school, knows loads of the teachers and has lots of friends, but lately she’s not been herself. I don’t know… maybe she’s worried she’ll feel left out when the babies are here.” The soon-to-be mum-of-four went on: “I don’t know if the twins have thrown her a little bit, but we’re trying to include her in everything.
When we got back from shopping the other day, I was showing her everything that we got and she was putting all the boy’s and girl’s clothes in piles. “It’s a bit of a shock to her. I’ve only ever had her and Rich, and I think she’s thinking about the fact that she’s going to be a big sister again.
“I’m sure when the twins come, she’ll be fine.” The star is currently 28 weeks pregnant and is expected to give birth in April. Due to the fact she’s carrying twins, there’s a chance Amy may have to have a C-section, but the reality TV star wants a natural birth if it’s safe for her babies. She wrote in her column last month: “If I can give birth naturally, then it would be perfect.
