The ongoing feud between this year's Love Island stars Remi Lambert, Jacques O’Neill and Luca Bish has caught the attention of Islanders from past seasons. Amber Gill, who won the series in 2019, last night gave her thoughts on the 'bullying' row, seemingly taking the side of bombshell Remi, 27, by taking a swipe at Jacques and Luca, both 23. After the rugby player and fishmonger, both 23, took part in a joint Instagram Live video on Monday evening - where the duo were seen mocking the former bombshell's rapping skills - Remi slammed their 'bullying' behaviour in a damning social media post, which has since caught the eye of not only thousands of outraged fans.
Commenting on Remi's post, 25 year old Amber weighed in on Jacques and Luca, writing: "Isn't one of them supposed to be working on themselves?" Amber's comment appears to refer to Jacques' shock exit from the villa on the grounds of a mental health struggle last month. Amber also posted another comment reading, "Go off!", supporting Remi for standing up against the "bullying". Manchester model Remi, 27, had shared an extract of Jacques and Luca's Insta Live on his own account, accompanying it with a lengthy post.
Remi wrote: "Everyone lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there. Don't know why they wasn't kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It's not banter, it's clearly signs of bullying.
"Jacques said bad things about my appearance and the way I speak, whilst Luca was encouraging it. After about 3 strikes from Jacques I told him I won't be speaking to him anymore in the villa. "Later on he tried apologising to me but like 10 minutes after he started with the snide comments again."
