The outlet writes that in the beginning of July, Amanda checked herself into a new treatment center in Orange County. She reportedly learned about this new facility through her previous treatment center.
Sources told TMZ that she wanted a more “therapeutic place to live” rather than stay by herself in her L.A. apartment and also felt that she needed more support than her outpatient treatment was providing.
The sources also claimed that Amanda was receiving a higher level of care as she’s in residential treatment. Moreover, they added that she was taking part in daily therapy sessions and activities in order to prepare for life after leaving the center.
Earlier this summer, Amanda was reportedly detained by police after cops were called over a “woman who was in distress.” It was then revealed that she had been placed on psychiatric hold and a new report about the incident was released.
Amanda was also placed on a psychiatric hold in March of this year after reportedly roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked. She spent three weeks in a mental health facility before being released in April.
Around that time, it was revealed whether Amanda‘s parents were considering another conservatorship amid their daughter’s mental health struggles. Find out more here.
