Manchester United prospect Amad said he is proud of what he and loan club Sunderland achieved this season after suffering Championship play-off heartbreak against Luton on Tuesday night.
Amad spent the campaign at Sunderland and scored 14 goals in 43 games in all competitions for the Black Cats.
Sunderland reached the Championship play-offs with a sixth place finish on the final day of the season. Tony Mowbray's side snuck into the top six on goal difference ahead of his old club Blackburn Rovers.

Amad and Sunderland held the advantage following a 2-1 victory at the Stadium of Light over the weekend. Amad himself was on the scoresheet on that occasion with a sublime curling effort.
But the Hatters overtuned Sunderland's advantage to win 2-0 on the night and 3-2 on aggregate. Goals from Gabriel Osho and Tom Lockyer in the first half sealed Luton's place at Wembley, where they will take on either Middlesbrough or Coventry City.
Now his loan spell has come to an end, Amad says he is 'proud' to have been part of the Sunderland squad this season and has no regrets from his loan spell ahead of his return to United this summer.
He wrote: "hi guys, i know you are sad, we all are. a group of young guys who fought until the last minute, I can only be proud to have been part of this team. no regrets just proud of what each of us has become over the course of the season. thank you for the love. HAWAY THE LADS"
