All the Shows Coming to Quibi

Rebecca Black, 22, is now comfortable with identifying as queer. The singer, most known for releasing the song “Friday” that went viral in 2011, opened up about her sexuality, labels and recent breakup on the April 3 episode of the Dating Straight podcast! Explaining her past reluctance to come out under a certain label, Rebecca explained, “I made a conscious decision to not, like, ‘come out.’ People started asking and I stopped not responding. I’m still in the process, it feels like.”

Designed for mobile devices, Quibi offers short, 10-minute (or less) episodes of brand new TV shows and movie chapters (a.k.a "quick bites").

Quibi, the mobile streaming service that specializes in "quick bite" content," launched in April with 50 shows, but they already have dozens of other series lined up in the hopes of keeping subscribers engaged and attracting new ones.

Rip your TV off the wall and flush it down the toilet, because you won't be needing it anymore — Quibi is finally here. The much-anticipated (by some) mobile-only short-form streaming app has launched, with 50 shows all under 10 minutes an episode from big names like Jennifer Lopez, LeBron James, and Reese Witherspoon.

After months of Quibi building up its roster with countless stars and absurdist premises, the streaming service of “quick bites” has finally arrived. The platform features abbreviated episodes only available on phones in order to cater to people with precious little time in between commitments — and yes, the timing of this launch during a nationwide quarantine is, to say the least, ironic.

It can be hard to keep track of all the new streaming services hitting your screens, but Quibi hopes to set itself apart by focusing solely on short-form mobile video. All of Quibi's series will only be able to stream on phones, with every episode clocking in under 10 minutes.

Say what you will about Quibi's cost, but the upcoming streaming service is doing everything it can to make sure each subscriber gets their money's worth right away, offering a staggering 50 programs upon launching on Monday, April 6.

At this point, there are really only two types of people in America: those whose heads are still spinning from the truth-is-stranger-than-fiction-style twists in Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness and those who don't know who Joe Exotic is or why this mullet-rocking man has become the meme of the moment on social media.
