Alan Carr has confirmed he's back on the market, after his relationship with younger beau Callum Heslop came to an end.
The 47 year old funnyman, who was first linked to the 27-year-old hairdresser last November, is now ready for a new romance. While he is open to dating, Alan has admitted that he won't be on any apps and is looking to do things the 'old fashioned' way. Describing his dream man, the comedian told MailOnline: "I look for a rugby boy.
I like them big, and chunky - chunky everywhere. If you catch what I'm saying." When probed whether he'd be on any dating apps, he said: "How can I go on Grindr? I'm taking it easy at the minute. Do you really want this face popping up on a [dating] app?" It was reported that Alan may be single again in January, as he told The Sun that he was 'looking' for love, just two months after the relationship was revealed.
Alan and Callum first sparked romance rumours last year when they were spotted in Los Angeles together, while the former was touring the US as part of his Regional Trinket comedy tour. And during their time in America, the couple are said to have received Adele's blessing, after she attended one of Alan's stand-up shows earlier this month. Previously, Alan was married to party planner Paul Drayton.
The pair tied the knot in 2018 after a decade together but went their separate ways in 2022.
It's not clear if they've finalised their divorce yet. Alan and Callum's split came as a surprise, after there were even reports last year suggesting that Alan and Callum spent Thanksgiving dinner at Adele's posh house in LA. It also appears that Alan made their relationship Instagram official when he posted some adorable pictures of the pair having fun together.
