Crocked Abdallah Sima has spoken for the first time since limping off during Rangers win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final.
The Brighton loanee has only recently made his return from injury after picking up a hamstring injury in January while on AFCON duty with Senegal - and looks set for anoher spell on the sidelines after the 22-year-old limped off at Hampden after 16 minutes to be replaced by Ross McCausland. Philippe Clement said after 2-0 victory over the Jambos that Sima had been forced off due to another hamstring injury.
Clement said: "We're going to see and make an assessment tomorrow. He felt some tightness in his hamstring, I hope it's not so bad. We hope we can have Abdallah in the next couple of weeks because he's been really important in that period where he was fit and he was coming back now. So we will see."
While waiting for an assessment, some fans are concerned that the season could be over for the wide man. But Sima appears to be more optimistic about his chances of making a quick-fire return to action.
With Rangers set to face off against Celtic on May 25, Sima has set his focus on another appearance at the national stadium. Posting an image of the full-time result against Hearts to his Instagram, he added the comment: "On to the final."
Sima clearly has his sights set on running out for the Light Blues on a blockbuster derby day to round off the season. However, it remains to be seen if he will win his fitness race.

Taylor Swift‘s fans are always pouring over her lyrics for clues about her personal life, and things are no different with the release of her newest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Before her world-famous relationship with Travis Kelce that was debuted this year, Swift had a long-term romance with British actor Joe Alwyn, and then a relatively short rebound with Matty Healy, frontman of the 1975. Most of the material was written and recorded before Swift and Kelce became an item, so he isn’t a key player in the album, although he makes a key late entry, assuming no one else drove her to use football metaphors for the first time.
