Heartstopper season three is coming later this year, and the show has revealed some major new names have joined the cast.The hit Netflix series is a coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama focusing on the friendships and relationships of secondary school students at the fictional Truham Grammar School.The third season is due to hit the streaming service with eight new episodes in October, and they have announced that joining the existing cast will be Eddie Marsan, Hayley Atwell and Jonathan Bailey.Marsan is known for his roles in Ray Donovan and Happy-Go-Lucky, and recently played Mitch Winehouse in Back To Black, while Atwell played Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. EXCLUSIVE: 9-1-1 is getting a visit from Malcolm Jamal Warner.
The actor is set to guest star in four upcoming episodes as Amir, a nurse in a hospital burn unit who is connected to Bobby’s past.
9-1-1 is currently in its seventh season, the first to air on ABC after the series made the jump from Fox. The Season 7 premiere drew an audience of 11.76M total viewers within the first seven days. It was also the eries’ highest-rated multiplatform telecast in nearly 2 years in Adults 18-49.
It currently stands as ABC’s most-watched current series across all platforms this season, according to Disney. On the day following its debut on ABC, 9-1-1 managed to deliver its most-streamed day ever on Hulu, with 1.6M total hours.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear, 9-1-1 has already been renewed for Season 8.
The series stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant, Peter Krause as Bobby Nash, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi as Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz.

Warner was most recently a series regular on the Fox drama The Resident, and on ABC’s Ten Days In The Valley. He also had a guest lead role on the Fox anthology series Accused.
