EXCLUSIVE: London and LA-based management and production outfit 42 has hired MXN Entertainment partner Michelle Knudsen in its LA office.
As a manager, Knudsen has focused on championing women and diverse voices. Her clients include Katie Silberman (Booksmart), Carrie Solomon (writer of the upcoming Netflix movie starring Nicole Kidman, Family Affair), Lacey Duke (Insecure) and Jesse Andrews (Me & Earl & the Dying Girl). Most recently, she signed rising director Hiromi Kamata (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters).
As a producer, her film credits include the Netflix comedy, When We First Met, the music driven MTV Films documentary, No Cameras Allowed, and Melina Matsoukas’ feature directorial debut, Queen & Slim starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner Smith.
Knudsen grew up on Long Island with her Peruvian family and graduated from Columbia University.
