Dick and Angel Strawbridge have officially confirmed they have “parted ways” with Channel 4 after a seven-year run of their hugely popular TV series, Escape To The Château.The couple found fame with the show - documenting their journey renovating the dilapidated 19th century Neo-Renaissance style Château de la Motte Husson, located in a small market town in Western France.The Strawbridge’s first purchased the property back in 2015, after they traded in their two-bedroom Essex flat to make the big move to France. Apparently, they paid just £280,000 for the 45-room Château and sprawling grounds with the intention of turning it into a successful enterprise.

The chamber piece is driven by Sandra Hüller’s (“Toni Erdmann”) nuanced performance as a successful German novelist on trial for the murder of her husband (Samuel Theis), who died in mysterious circumstances in a remote corner of the snowy French Alps. Their visually impaired 11-year-old son (Milo Machado Graner) is called on the witness stand, prompting a dissection of Sandra’s conduct as a wife and a mother. Supporting roles are played by Swann Arlaud and Antoine Reinartz.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Lionsgate has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the the Biblical epic series “The Chosen.” Three seasons of “The Chosen” have been produced to date. Seasons 1 and 2 are available on Peacock and Amazon Prime Video, while Season 1 is also on Netflix. It is also availabile in France on Canal+, the Netherlands on NPO, Spain on MovieStar and Poland on TVP.
