Ashish Sehgal, chief growth officer, advertisement revenue, will now directly report into Goenka. EXCLUSIVE: Sony has preemptively closed a deal for film rights to Grady Hendrix‘s short story “Ankle Snatcher,” tapping Hendrix to adapt it for the screen, sources tell Deadline. Hendrix is also set to produce alongside Escape Artists‘ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Tony Shaw, as well as Aperture Entertainment‘s Adam Goldworm.

Ghost Of Tsushima is being released on PC in May of this year, following an announcement yesterday (March 6).The title will be releasing alongside both the Legends multiplayer mode and the Iki Island DLC in one package currently priced at £49.99 ($59.99). The game will be released on May 16 across both Steam and the Epic Games Store.The PC version of the game will come with ultrawide monitor support and support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions for triple monitor setups.

The Karate Kid cast is steadily growing.

Katcy Stephan Ming-Na Wen has joined the cast of Sony’s new “Karate Kid” film. Previously announced cast members include “American Born Chinese” star Ben Wang in the titular role, plus Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, who will reprise their characters from previous entries in the franchise. Joshua Jackson and Sadie Stanley will also star.

Zack Sharf Digital News Director “Deadpool” star Karan Soni (Dopinder) told Variety this week that a ton of surprise cameos were filmed for the upcoming third installment, “Deadpool and Wolverine,” adding: “Let’s just say a lot of people traveled to London [for filming].” One actor who apparently did not make it to London was Vinnie Jones, who debuted as Juggernaut in “X-Men: The Last Stand.” Jones recently told Yahoo Movies UK that he turned down a request to reprise the character in “Deadpool and Wolverine” because getting in his Juggernaut suit isn’t the best experience. “Funnily enough I just got asked to do ‘Deadpool,’ the new one now, and I spoke to the director and I just said it’s such a drama putting that suit on mentally and physically,” Jones said. “I mean it had its mental toll as well because you’re in it and you can’t do anything all day, you can only drink through a straw.

She went on to explain: “It’s so hard to get movies made, and in these big movies that get made — and it’s even starting to happen with the little ones, which is what’s really freaking me out — decisions are being made by committees, and art does not do well when it’s made by committee.”“Films are made by a filmmaker and a team of artists around them.
