There are two series that have been trending in households everywhere and they couldn’t be any more different.

NBC News’ newest programs won’t be appearing on NBC, MSNBC or CNBC.

Eko struck back against Jeffrey Katzenberg’s Quibi with its own lawsuit Tuesday, accusing Quibi of infringing on one of Eko’s patents and misappropriating the interactive-video company’s trade secrets.

Quibi has canceled its red carpet launch event “out of an abundance of caution” amid the growing threat of the spread of coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Quibi — less than a month away from the commercial launch of its mobile-subscription service — asked a federal court for a ruling that its technology does not infringe a patent held by Eko, an interactive video company whose investors include Walmart.
