The movie is the first announced movie in GAC Family’s annual Great American Christmas slate.“Catering Christmas” follows Molly Frost (Patterson) as she struggles to launch her new catering business and unexpectedly lands New Hampshire’s biggest event of the year.

Dolly Parton could once again come to the big screen with the help of Reese Witherspoon. The "9 to 5" singer and actress, 76, has secured a deal with Witherspoon’s production studio Hello Sunshine to adapt Parton’s novel, "Run, Rose Run," into a film centered on the best-seller that Parton co-wrote with James Patterson.

The pair will produce the feature film for Hello Sunshine. Its founder Reese Witherspoon will also produce the movie along with Hello Sunshine’s President of Film and Television Lauren Neustadter.“Run, Rose, Run” was published this month and topped The New York Times bestseller list.

Apple TV+.Patterson’s forthcoming autobiography, “The Stories of My Life: James Patterson by James Patterson,” will be published June 6.Parton last acted in an episode of “Grace and Frankie” and in a holiday film called “Christmas on the Square” in 2020. Ana Verde, Hannah Patterson, Amy Omar, Andrea and Sofia Riba, and Justine Chen each will receive $5,000 to create their first short film alongside production mentorship from Wavelength’s executive team.

The entire event will be streamed live for free on “Dollyverse” by Eluvio, which also will power the “Dollyverse’s” NFT sales.
