Though “Killers of the Flower Moon” has been one of, if not the most anticipated films of 2023, there has been quite a few questions about how it was going to be released.

CANNES – The past decade has been an Oscar boom for Cannes. The French institution has premiered a Best Picture winner in “Parasite” and landed nine nominees over that span including three alone this past January with “Elvis,” “Top Gun: Maverick” and Palme d’Or winner “Triangle of Sadness.” We’re not sure festival director Thierry Fremeux will land another Best Picture winner in 2024, but at least two Best Picture nominations seem very likely.

CANNES – David Grann‘s acclaimed novel “Killers of the Flower Moon” has gone through a number of interactions to finally get to the big screen. And to help drum up hype, Apple/Paramount has its first teaser trailer for the historical crime film, which apparently has a runtime of 3 hours and 26 minutes.

It’s truly unfortunate that the movies of Martin Scorsese have turned into such impossible endeavors despite the legendary filmmaker proving himself time and time again.

There’s a lot of questions about how Hollywood is going to bounce back after the COVID-19 production stoppages. It would appear that in a post-COVID-19 world, film production is tricky, to say the least, with all sorts of safety precautions that have to be followed.
