When Justice League released in 2017 with great pomp and splendour, unfortunately, it didn't meet up to the gigantic expectations at the global box-office and was also met with negative criticism from both critics and diehard DC aficionados alike.

Back when “Justice League” was deep into post-production, reports came out that Zack Snyder had left the film and that Joss Whedon was going to take over planned reshoots for the film. At the time, it was reported that Snyder’s exit involved a family situation (the death of his daughter), but there were rumblings that there could have been more to the story.

The long epic drama surrounding ‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” aka, the “Snydercut,” aka the director’s cut of “Justice League,” is nearly coming to an end. After leaving “Justice League” as a director in summer 2017 due to a family tragedy, the film being finished by Joss Whedon under Warner Bros.

Last year, when Ray Fisher first announced that he was seeking his own sort of justice after being mistreated during the reshoots of the 2017 film “Justice League,” people were shocked and dismayed. In a recent interview with Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast, Leto was a guest to discuss his upcoming film, “The Little Things,” opposite Denzel Washington and Rami Malek, from director John Lee Hancock. Leto plays a serial killer in the film, and it opens on January 29, 2021, via Warner Bros.

It’s been five months since Ray Fisher accused Joss Whedon of alleged “abusive, unprofessional” behavior on the set of “Justice League,” and now WarnerMedia has concluded an investigation into Fisher’s allegations.

It doesn’t take a deep knowledge of DC Comics lore to recognize that there are some, uh, inconsistencies between 2017’s “Justice League” film and the other DCEU features that spawned from it. Clearly, that’s the result of Zack Snyder leaving the production and Joss Whedon taking over and turning the superhero film into…something else.

Two weeks ago, it was revealed that the trailer for “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” was pulled from social media after being up for months due to a music rights issue with Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Well, it appears that instead of just re-uploading the original trailer after the rights issue was dealt with, Zack Snyder and Co. decided to release a brand-new trailer.

Remember when Zack Snyder made a big fuss about his cut of “Justice League” was absolutely, 100% done, only to then raise over $30 million in re-shoots to actually finish the film? Well, it turns out the re-shoots will add a very short amount of footage to the film’s already overly long runtime.

As Zack Snyder‘s cut of “Justice League” undergoes re-shoots, it will soon become clear just how much the theatrical version resembles Snyder’s original vision. In the meantime, we have at least some idea of how much of the original footage made it to screen, as actor Ray Fisher reveals that only one single scene featuring Cyborg was not reshot by Joss Whedon.

Back in May, after the world was told that Zack Snyder’s original vision for “Justice League” would be coming to HBO Max in 2021, dubbed “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” aka “The Snyder Cut,” it was reported that the cost of going back into production and finishing up the cut that already existed would cost upwards of $30 million. That seemed like a huge number for Warner Bros.

The rumors, though not unexpected, are true, “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” will undergo one week of reshoots in October to help complete what will be a four-hour, four-episode limited series for HBO Max. Snyder exited the “Justice League” in 2017 following a family tragedy.

Earlier this year, Ray Fisher began his very public war with Warner Bros. after the actor went to social media to accuse Joss Whedon, Jon Berg, and Geoff Johns as being involved in abusive behavior during the reshoots on “Justice League.” Exact details were never revealed, and an investigation is ongoing with Warner Bros.

Recently, we reported that Jason Momoa entered the fracas between his “Justice League” co-star Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. At the time, all Momoa did was post a picture with a supportive hashtag.

Back in July 2020, Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in DCEU (DC Extended Universe) had accused Justice League director Joss Whedon of "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable" behaviour along with naming some big wigs at Warner Bros. as well.

Feuds are nothing new in Hollywood. Especially when you consider the film industry features studios that routinely pay millions of dollars for actors to appear in films that cost hundreds of millions of dollars more.
