Respawn Entertainment has announced that new Apex Legends champion Valkyrie will be getting a nerf soon.Apex Legends’ associate live balance designer John Larson revealed on twitter that the character’s tactical hover is only consuming fuel at 10% of the normal planned rate.Larson explained that with the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 coming up, a nerf to the tactical hover is required.

Respawn, the team behind Apex Legends, has addressed some player concerns over pricing in a Reddit AMA.The response came during a Reddit AMA that invited players and fans to ask questions about the game, with several members of Respawn staff replying.

Respawn Entertainment has revealed a new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends season nine, which introduces a new arena mode.The Legacy trailer introduces the new Arena mode, gives a preview of the abilities of new Legend, Valkyrie, and also gives details on the latest weapon to be added: the Bocek Bow.The trailer, which also teases story developments for season nine, is available below:Arena Mode will be a permanent fixture of Apex Legends throughout season nine.

Apex Legends is causing players to lose progress on PlayStation versions of the game.Respawn Entertainment have let players know they are aware of two separate issues with the game, one of which is specifically affecting players on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game.In a tweet on April 5, Respawn confirmed that they are investigating reports of players “losing unlocks after changing the mail associated with their EA account” whilst also noting a similar bug is affecting PS4

Respawn Entertainment have announced that they are intending to fix the ongoing issues with Titanfall‘s PC multiplayer.Years after launch Titanfall still struggles with DDOS (Digital Denial of Service) attacks which have been affecting its multiplayer. The developer tweeted that “help is coming ASAP” and that they are “aware of ongoing DDOS attacks”.The PC version released in 2016, and became a target for DDOS attacks in 2019, eventually rendering it unplayable.

Apex Legends players have been banned from the game for a DDoS attack on an Xbox server.Ranked as Apex Predators in the hierarchy system of Apex Legends, the two have not yet been named but have been banned from participating in the game, according to Respawn.Respawn’s security analyst Conor Ford responded to an accusation on Reddit with the word “banned”, referring to the two players.
