Disney Plus.  Dancing With the Stars first debuted in June 2005 on ABC and soon became one of its most popular shows, though ratings have dropped in recent years. While it may not be the powerhouse it used to be, DWTS still has allure for Disney Plus, which is seeking to expand its subscriber base with different offerings.

Selma Blair, Jordin Sparks, Jason Lewis, and Teresa Giudice have joined the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. The cast of season 31 was announced on Good Morning America on Thursday ahead of the season's premiere on 19 September.

From Redd Foxx and Moms Mabley of the civil rights movement to modern-day comedians and creators like Key & Peele, Issa Rae, Amber Ruffin and Tiffany Haddish, the four-hour documentary celebrates the history and under-appreciated legacy that Black comedians had in driving social change across the 20th and 21st centuries.

Wednesday primetime was a pretty tame one, with NBC’s Chicago trio and ABC’s sitcom slate in reruns. Instead of the NBC series topping the nightly ratings as they tend to do, Wednesday belonged to CBS with its broadcast of Let’s Make a Deal.

The first “Cuphead Show” trailer is here and it is positively overflowing with old school animation techniques, allusions to classic cartoons, and the kind of irreverent fun that made the “Cuphead” video game such a sensation.Originally released in 2017, “Cuphead” is a fast-paced shoot ‘em up that draws heavily from the animated shorts and features from yesteryear. While the new Netflix show doesn’t have quite the same fidelity to the past (the video game had hand-painted cels, while this new show uses newer technology), it certainly captures the spirit in the same way.
