Sadly, that partnership came to an end on Monday (Mar. 28) after Helmut died peacefully in Long Island, New York, according to PEOPLE. “A family man, he was a loyal friend, and loved them deeply,” a rep for the family said in a statement to the publication. “With a roaring sense of humor, larger-than-life personality, and a practical problem-solver, he lived his life to the fullest.”
