The director of the first "Twilight" movie revealed she was nervous about having Robert Pattinson kiss co-star Kristen Stewart when she was underage.  The first movie came out in 2008 after the books by author Stephanie Meyer became a cultural phenomenon. As part of the audition process, the two leads of the franchise met at director Catherine Hardwicke’s home where they did a screen test together that included a kissing scene, which gave the director some serious second thoughts after it happened.  Speaking on "The Big Hit Show" podcast recently, Harwicke explained that she had the duo over to her home in 2007 and brought them to the bedroom where they allegedly went a little overboard while testing their chemistry during a scene that required the characters to kiss.The director revealed that Pattinson fell off the bed at one point because they got so into it.  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson did a screen test for "Twilight" when she was underage.

Michaela Zee Lionsgate is expanding the “Twilight” franchise with a new animated series, Variety has confirmed. Michael Burns, vice chairman of Lionsgate, shared the news during a Q&A at the Morgan Stanley media conference on Tuesday, revealing, “We’re going to go out with the ‘Twilight’ series, an animated series, I think there’ll be a lot of interest in that.” Last April, Variety reported that a “Twilight” TV series adaptation was in very early development at Lionsgate Television.

Lionsgate is expanding two of its biggest movie franchises, John Wick and Twilight, with new TV series offshoots. The company’s Vice Chairman Michael Burns shared information about the two projects during a Q&A at the Morgan Stanley media conference.

“1917” and “Skyfall,” will helm the entire magical mystery tour of biopics that explore the lives of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. “We intend this to be a uniquely thrilling, and epic cinematic experience: four films, told from four different perspectives which tell a single story about the most celebrated band of all time,” producer Pippa Harris, of Neal Street Productions, said in a statement.
