The rapper calls the track "a dope song reflecting the real side of love"

What do you get when you mix the warm island vibes of Jamaica with some chill Swedish pop instincts? "Calling on Me," the steamy joint single from Sean Paul and Tove Lo that dropped on Friday morning (Feb. 7) with just the right mix of attitude and uplifting message about the power of true love.

Sean Paul and Tove Lo have joined together for a new collaborative single “Calling on Me.” In a statement, Sean Paul said, “‘Calling On Me’ is a dope song reflecting the real side of love.” He added, “If you love someone, the energy doesn’t ever change. There will be a new arrival into the Love Island villa this weekend in the form of Sean Paul.The multi-platinum singer, writer, producer and performer is heading into the villa in Cape Town where he’ll perform some of his hits for the islanders at a party. A clip of the singer in the villa's Beach Hut shows him saying: "Yo this is Sean Paul, fresh right here in South Africa ready to the bring the fire to the Love Island crew.
