Michaela Zee editor Searchlight Pictures has released the trailer for Taika Waititi’s upcoming sports comedy-drama film, “Next Goal Wins.” Based on directors Mike Brett and Steve Jamison’s 2014 documentary of the same name, “Next Goal Wins” follows the true story of unorthodox coach Thomas Rongen (Michael Fassbender) as he attempts to turn the American Samoa national soccer team into champions. The film takes place after the soccer team’s infamous 31-0 FIFA loss in 2001. Along with Fassbender, the film stars Elisabeth Moss, Will Arnett, Uli Latukefu, Rhys Darby, Oscar Kightley, David Fane, Lehi Falepapalangi, Semu Filipo, Rachel House, Angus Sampson, Frankie Adams, Beulah Koale, Sisa Grey, Russell Satele, Karim Benz, and Chris Aloso. Variety exclusively reported in Nov. 2019 that Kaimana, a fa’afafine non-binary actor, will portray Jaiyah Saelua, the first non-binary player to compete in a men’s FIFA World Cup qualifier.

While most of Disney’s CinemaCon presentation was dominated by expected Disney fare like “The Little Mermaid,” “The Haunted Mansion,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” and “Elemental,” there was still time spent on films from formally-Fox and formally-Fox Searchlight. Searchlight Pictures has pushed back the release date for the Taika Waititi-helmed Next Goal Wins, the soccer comedy starring Michael Fassbender, which the Oscar winner wrote with Iain Morris. The Hawaii-set feature is now set to open on November 17th, having previously been dated for September 22nd.

Richard, 65, labelled Harry, 37, as "dreadful" and questioned why Travalyst ever released the footage. In the video Harry can be seen going for a run while wearing a ‘Girl Dad’ T-shirt, before being ambushed by ‘rating’ agents.The idea behind the comedy skit was to promote a project to assess travellers on how sustainable they are when they’re on holiday.

The Duke of Sussex recent flexed his acting muscles in a short promotional sketch for his non-profit organization, Travalyst, and showed his love for his baby daughter, Lilibet.In the video, Harry jogs through the forest when he is stopped in his tracks by a «rating agent» (played by star Rhys Darby), who grills him about having dropped a candy wrapper on a beach in New Zealand four years ago.The whole sketch is meant as an advertisement of sorts for Travalyst, which is a global initiative partnering with major travel booking websites that is seeking to rate different resort locations and travel destinations based on their ecological impact and how green they are.However, the one sweet detail that has really drawn attention is Harry's adorable T-shirt, which is emblazoned with «GIRL DAD» written in bold block stencil font.The sketch sees Harry himself getting rated by Darby, who gives him three stars at first — due to the candy wrapper incident — but then he earns another half-star for buying locally sourced honey and using minimal towels while on that same trip.According to Travalyst, the organization wants to be «the driving force that paves a new way to travel, helping everyone explore our world in a way that protects both people and places, and secures a positive future for destinations and local communities for generations to come.»The video comes a month before Harry and wife Meghan Markle are set to celebrate Lilibet's first birthday! Peterson Working on “Our Flag Means Death,” a half-hour comedy now streaming on HBO Max, production designer Ra Vincent was excited for the challenge of crafting “a theatrical play … on the high sea.”A fictionalized account of reallife 18th-century “gentleman pirate” Stede Bonnet (played by Rhys Darby) and his relationship with the infamous Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard (Taika Waititi), the series needed to use its sets in ways that typical movie and television productions do not.“It’s less of a major motion picture and more of a theater sports performance,” Vincent explains.  At the outset, Vincent says the team decided, “Let’s build an environment where the cast can explore exactly who the character would be without the limitations of having a seriously preplanned set.” To fashion that kind of open space, the art department needed to make room for 100 crew members and their equipment, while also allowing for the actors and their needs in the moment.
