Microsoft has announced that Ubisoft’s popular shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege is the latest title to enter Xbox Game Pass.After being teased through a tongue in cheek image on the Xbox Game Pass Twitter account, it’s since been revealed that the highly competitive multiplayer game will be joining the service on October 22.

Ubisoft Forward presentation is arriving next week, bringing an array of gaming news and reveals.Viewers can expect to watch the latest show on September 10 at 8pm BST and it can be watched from the Ubisoft Forward website.Amongst the selection of games being shown is Watch Dogs: Legion, Hyper Scape, and Rainbow Six Siege. It’s also been revealed that Immortals: Fenyx Rising will be at the show, which is the formerly known Gods & Monsters.

On Sunday (August 16), Ubisoft will be revealing more details on the latest operator for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. However, this addition to the game is quite different to its predecessors – while new seasons of the game always bring fresh, original characters, Siege’s new operator will be that of Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher.Fisher will be added with the forthcoming Operation Shadow Legacy update, and is codenamed “Zero”.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances” according to developer Ubisoft.Patch Y5S2.3, which buffs Gridlock, Oryx and Fuze, was set to go live today (July 29), but Ubisoft instead sent out a notice on Twitter saying that “unforeseen circumstances” have forced it to be pushed back.

Ubisoft has announced the release date for its upcoming mobile game, Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad.The will launch worldwide on August 27 for iOS and Android devices.
