Paul Sinha has announced his close friend and quiz teammate has died from coronavirus, just days after announcing he was showing symptoms himself.The 49 year old took to Twitter to pay tribute to Jon Jacob, who passed away from the deadly bug that has now placed the United Kingdom on lockdown.The Chase star wrote to his 143,000 followers on the social media platform: "Woken up to the news that Jon Jacob, my friend and quiz teammate for the last decade, has succumbed to corona.

He wrote: "Although I cant be sure and i cant be tested it seems likely i have Coronavirus.
