Bon Iver have postponed their spring European tour in support of i,i until January 2021 in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The band’s April 27 show in Birmingham has been canceled outright; the April 15 and April 24 shows in Amsterdam and Lisbon, respectively, have yet to be rescheduled. On March 13, Tim Heidecker hosted an eight-hour marathon episode of his podcast Office Hours. Dark Mofo, an eclectic annual arts, culture and music festival in Tasmania, the southernmost state of Australia, has been canceled due to the spreading COVID-19 disease.The treasured event was planned to be held in Hobart this June, with Bon Iver (aka Justin Vernon) among its performers.“We’re killing Dark Mofo for the year,” explains Mona founder and owner David Walsh, who launched the midwinter fest in 2013.

Bon Iver performed at Bernie Sanders’ rally last night (January 31) at the Horizon Events Center in Clive, Iowa. Justin Vernon played acoustic renditions of a handful of Bon Iver tracks, as well as Leon Russell’s “A Song For You,” and two Bob Dylan covers. Today, a new song has arrived featuring vocals from John Prine and guitar from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon. “It’s the first time I seen John since the ’60s,” Swamp Dogg said in a press release.
