Toyah Willcox and her husband, King Crimson founder Robert Fripp have shared a cover of Queens Of The Stone Age‘s ‘No One Knows’ – check it out below.The clip comes as the next chapter in their long-running ‘Sunday Lunch’ series which was launched in 2020 due to Fripp missing live performance as a result of lockdown.The series has so far seen the couple share renditions of songs by Ramones, Nirvana, David Bowie, Metallica, Billy Idol, The Rolling Stones, Judas Priest, The Prodigy, Guns N’ Roses, Alice Cooper and many more through Willcox’s YouTube channel.In recent weeks, they’ve covered ‘Bullet With Butterfly Wings’ by the Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ ‘Can’t Stop’ and Kaiser Chiefs‘ ‘I Predict A Riot’. Mark Ronson announces details of new memoir ’93 ’Til Infinity’

Mark Ronson has unveiled details of his new memoir, 93 ‘Til Infinity.The book is set to be published next year by Grand Central Publishing and is described as “a combination memoir-DJ study-New York celebration.”In a statement shared with The Associated Press, Ronson said: “Before smartphones hit the dancefloor and bottle service & VIP banquettes shrunk the club, in the 90’s people stayed all night in the same place to dance, hustle, politic, and party like no one was watching.“At that moment, New York was still the centre of the music game and in the land of Biggie, Wu-Tang and Tribe, we celebrated them every night. More importantly, this era also happened to be the most exciting time in my life.”No release date for the book has yet been set.Ronson released his new Apple TV+ series Watch the Sound earlier this year.

The Distillers postpone UK and European summer tour

The Distillers have announced that they’ve postponed all their European festival appearances, as well as their June headline tour.The Brody Dalle-fronted band shared a statement on social media that said: “It is with great regret that The Distillers have been forced to postpone their upcoming European festival appearances and headline tour this June.”“The band express their sincere apologies to all of the fans and hope to return to Europe to play the headline shows as soon as they can, so please hold onto your tickets.”A post shared by THE DISTILLERS (@thedistillers)No reason for the postponement was given however earlier this week, fellow American band The Pretty Reckless also canceled their European summer tour “due to unforeseen logistical challenges.”Both bands were due to play the UK leg of Download Festival, with The Distillers due to headline the second stage on the Friday (June 10), with The Pretty Reckless scheduled to play before Deftones and Iron Maiden on the Saturday (June 11). The festival is yet to confirm replacements.The Distillers were also booked to play Austria’s Nova Rock as well as Sunstroke Festival in Ireland alongside headline shows in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg.
