Ben Schwartz and Sam Rockwell have teamed for an untitled comedy for Searchlight Pictures. The division, which last year released Jojo Rabbit, in which Rockwell appeared, and is now under the Disney banner, picked up the project as a pitch from Schwartz, who will now write the script.

After Avengers: Endgame, we saw the OG 6 Avengers in different avatars, away from their superhero alter-egos. This included Chris Evans' scene-stealing act in Knives Out as well as Scarlett Johansson's Oscar-nominated roles in Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit. When it comes to Mark Ruffalo, the actor took some much-needed break to spend time with his family but was also shooting for the six-episodes HBO miniseries, I Know This Much Is True, based on the 1998 Wally Lamb novel with the same name.

Following his Oscar victory for “Jojo Rabbit,” Taika Waititi has turned his focus to Marvel’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” and gained some help in shaping the script.
Sunday night's (Feb. 9) Oscars was notable for a number of firsts: Parasite became the first non-English-language feature to win best picture, Brad Pitt snagged his first Oscar for acting and a woman (Eimear Noone) conducted the Oscars orchestra for the first time.
